As we know, blood delivers nutrients and oxygen to our cells so they can perform their function and purpose. With the assistance of cacao, the bodies cells receive this nutrition with that much more easily. I created these balls for a woman who traded me a Nightmare on Wax ticket the other night. This recipe makes about 30 balls depending on how big your roll them.

3 cups of raw cashews (rinse thoroughly)

1 cup raw cacao powder

3/4 cup pitted medjool dates

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1.5 tsp of vanilla extract

2 heaping Tbp maple syrup or honey

2 dashes of sea sat

1 tsp cinnamon powder

1/6 cup filtered water

Directions:

Place cashews, dates, and cacao powder in a food processor and process until contents are sticky and broken down. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the water, and process until smooth. This usually takes about 1-3 minutes depending on what kind of food processor you are using.

Test stickiness by pressing together the ‘batter’ between your fingers. If it does not stick then slowly add the 1/6 cup of water while food processor is on. You will see the content becoming stickier and stickier.

Roll into balls and dress with coconut shred, hemp seeds, cacao powder, or you can leave them naked!
