So! We have millions and trillions of bacteria in our gut. These bacteria influence our mood, weight, immune system, digestion and so much more. Part of what gives them life is food. And essentially, they come to the dinner table eating what WE eat. If we are eating a crap diet full of processed foods with no fiber, rancid fats and refined sugar, that is what they are eating.
We gotta LOVE this bacteria UP!!! Good food, or prebiotics, for these organisms are: jerusalem artichoke, asparagus, jicima, dandelion greens, chicory root, raw garlic, raw leeks, raw and cooked onion, banana. Yet another way to love thyself. <3
